About

Poetic Philosophy tries to express what we feel for the cosmos via a combination of poetry and philosophy.

This site is part of the Harmonia Philosophica philosophical network.

Poetic Philosophy ecosystem

The extensive Poetic Philosophy ecosystem includes:

  • Poetic Philosophy: The portal that hosts original poems written by various creators.
  • Death Poetry: Poetic portal focused on poems related to death and life.
  • Collaborative Poetry: A portal that hosts a community focused on the collaborative writing of poems.
  • Hire a Poet: A portal through which one can hire a poet.

In turn, Collaborative Poetry and Poetic Philosophy are both part of Harmonia Philosophica, the overarching philosophical program that tries to create and sustain a different worldview based on irrational philosophy. The Collaborative Poetry ecosystem serves as a ‘live studio’ for writing poems, while Poetic Philosophy is the showcase for ready-poems and the hub for poems written individually.

The ultimate goal for both sister-sites is to share poems with the world!

About Spyridon Kakos

Spyridon Kakos (a.k.a. Spiros Kakos) is the founder of Poetic Philosophy. He is a writer and thinker located in Greece. He has been writing about philosophy for many years and has been managing the Harmonia Philosophica philosophy program since its inception with extreme success. He has been the Chief Editor of Harmonia Philosophica portals (harmoniaPhilosophica.com, harmonia-philosophica.blogspot.com, harmoniaPhilosophica.eu, poeticphilosophy.com) since their foundation and is profoundly interested in Religion and Science philosophy, as well as the philosophy of the irrational.

His philosophical work is mainly concentrated on an effort to free thinking from the chains of “logic” and reconcile all philosophical opinions under the umbrella of the “One”.

As Rilke said, life’s purpose is to be defeated by greater things. And the most important things in life are illogical. We must fight the dogmatic belief in “logic” if we are to stay humans…

We should stop thinking in order to think.

Credo quia absurdum!
