Writing poetry is difficult. Being exposed is difficult.
Would or have you ever considered collaboration with someone else in writing poems? Is poetry something too personal for you, or could you imagine yourself writing a poem with someone else to express things from your inner self?
I have discussed this with many and have received different views.
Others see poetry writing as something too personal and intimate to do with others. When writing a poem you express your inner feelings and agonies; you cannot do that along with someone else.
On the other hand, it is true that most of us write poems to share at the end. And what is more, we all share similar agonies and thoughts about the major aspects of our existence; from life and death to the mundane agonies of everyday life we are all living in the same world…
And surely, participating in such a collaborative project could provide you with additional inspiration, that you could use in your own personal poetry.

How can I collaborate to write poems?
There are many ways you could collaborate.
1. Contact Poetic Philosophy!
Contact us via our Contact Us page and let us know that you are interested! We will immediately get back to you and we will start collaborating.
An online document will be shared with you, where we can start co-editing. Or if you wish, a totally new file will be created. It all depends on what you need and how you feel comfortable to work.
Cannot be more simple than that!
2. Join Collaborative Poetry
Go to Collaborative Poetry – an affiliate portal – and express your interest for writing poems with others! There you will find a community of people who collaborate on expressing themselves via poetry.
Publication of Poems
Will the poems we write together be published? If you wish, yes. Online, in our current collections, but also in the upcoming Poetic Philosophy books. Again, this is something that we will discuss on an individual basis. There is nothing we would do without your consent. If you wish, you can publish or share the poems we write together anywhere else. Or you could just say that you do not want anything published anywhere.
It is all under your control.

Important Community & Privacy Notes
The following general notes apply to collaborative poetry initiatives.
- Privacy Commitment: Your email address is collected solely to manage the shared poetry workspace and will not be shared with third parties or used for external marketing.
- Workspace Visibility: Please note that while your details are private within the group settings, Google Workspace is a collaborative environment. Your Google profile name and email may be visible to other community members while working together on shared documents or folders.
- Leaving the Community: You have full control over your participation. You can leave the collaboration at any time. Alternatively, you can request manual removal by contacting us through our Contact Us page or via harmonia-philosophica@hotmail.com.
- Contribution: By joining, you agree to participate in a spirit of philosophical respect and creative collaboration.
- Ownership & Usage: At the end of every year, our collaborative poems can be published, provided that all respective contributors give their explicit permission. Every contributing member will receive full and proper attribution for their shared work. Please note that due to the logistical impossibility of splitting revenue among many co-authors, any proceeds generated from these publications will be entirely reinvested into the community to fund prizes for future poetry contests. However, you fully retain the rights to your work and can share it or publish it elsewhere as you may see fit.
